Font Issue Rethink

The main ‘font’ issue (previous ‘Font Issues’ post) is that the empty (space) character in most fonts is too narrow so it can be difficult to click in an empty square. I have been unable to find more than a couple of suitable monospaced fonts, so they are no help.

Enter Version 2.5 (upcoming) in which characters may be replaced by images when suitable images are present. I will be able to use an image for an unoccupied square instead of a narrow space, and also to use alternative images for tokens if desired. It will also work fine with the existing character based Styles.

Anyway I won’t be tearing my hair out getting to grips with font creation software, and I think the result will be better too. Like the Tesseract game any tokens could now be used; not just ‘X’ and ‘O’.
