Until now, all 3D Styles have been arranged horizontally across the page. While this works well on laptops and desktops, it’s less convenient on phones or tablets, where screens are typically taller than they are wide.
In the 3D game, there are three grids—and there’s no real reason they must be displayed side by side. In fact, thinking of the grids as stacked above one another makes a vertical layout feel natural.
With this in mind, I’ve introduced a couple of new 3D Styles that use a vertical arrangement. These are better suited for portrait-oriented screens.
I don’t often play in 3D myself, but I hope these new layouts are useful—especially for new players and for those who enjoy 3D gameplay on taller screens.
